Three decades of creating better shipping professionals

Since its foundation in 1978, the Anatomy of Shipping course, which is jointly organised by Cambridge Academy of Transport and Seatrade Academy, has benefited over 2000 shipping professionals. Shipowners, ship managers, bankers, charterers, marine superintendents, brokers, shipbuilders and cargo interests – all sectors are represented in the student roll.

Continuing with the now well-established methods pioneered by our Cambridge programmes, participants on the Dubai courses will receive comprehensive study materials including all the lectures on CD-ROM and, on completion of the course, a Certificate of Attendance.

In a programme of lectures and discussion groups, students of all ages from a diverse range of business backgrounds develop strong working relationships. Personalities, skills, knowledge, opinions and strengths all contribute to a highly-focused learning experience within an educational setting, removed from the daily pressures of the workplace.

These three intensive programmes for shipping professionals will be available in Dubai during 2007 and 2008.
